Here’s why I started this blog: I’m geeked out about community involvement and the great work that’s being done by nonprofit organizations in Central Indiana.
Over the years, I’ve been involved with these organizations as a corporate partner, volunteer, board member or donor. One of the things I’ve noticed is that there are LOTS of smaller, lesser-known agencies who suffer from “lack of”…lack of awareness, lack of support, lack of resources, etc. They’re doing BIG things with small staffs and limited budgets. And our community wouldn’t be the same without them.
